UMMC, Fairview, Smiley's Family Medicine Residency

Smiley's Family Medicine Residency emphasizes ambulatory family medicine. Residents are taught by faculty with diverse, complementary interests, including ethics, pediatrics, sports medicine, and women's, refugee, and immigrant health.

The clinic has been recognized by the American Institute of Architects for its use of color and space to help bridge language barriers between staff and a multicultural patient base.
