CDES Haiti - AM 10

This is a University of Minnesota Academic Moment.

The U’s College of Design is dedicated to helping communities in Haiti rebuild after January’s devastating earthquake that destroyed hundreds of schools and left more than a million Haitians homeless.

This spring, the School of Architecture will offer four courses focused on Haiti’s recovery. As part of the effort, university graduate students will work with local citizens to design two new schools. The U students will gain real-world experience while providing sustainable solutions for the people of Haiti.

Because sustainable design can help build a new future.
